Girls, please look at this clip. it is about Oprah and it is so scary to think how many people follow in the footsteps she is setting. Lets talk about it tomorrow and i disregard the time change. I can do whatever time.
It was really hard for me to hear her talk about the cross as if that was not the way for salvation. my heart breaks for the people she is turning from God. She says that heaven is not a destination but a state of being and that God is a feeling and not a belief in something. I cannot fathom denying God's existence. She says she didn't like hearing that God is a jealous God, but he is jealous of her attention and anyone's attention going anywhere but to Him. It reminds me to know that we are not close minded. We know the Truth and that is what sets us free. There is one way and that is through Christ. What an amazing sacrifice and gift we have in front of us... are we taking it for granted? Do we really believe there is one way? In a culture where everything is so PC this is the answer for them, but God calls us to one truth and to share that with others.
Just some thoughts on this. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Wed time change
First of all can i say that I am so excited to do this! you all are wonderful! Thank you allison for doing this! I am so looking forward to keeping up with each other and where we are in our walks no matter where we are in the world! :)
Second, can we have accountability right after chapter or are claire and emily kate going to have small group? Beta has a datenight and paul asked me to go to that and i think it starts at 830 maybe? Allison are you and kyle going? Let me know what you guys think...

Hey girls!
Hey ya'll :) I am so excited to meet with everyone this week - I wanna hear about everything that has happened over the past week with people relationships, summer plans, and what God is showing ya'll right now. I thought 'bringing out the best' was a good name for this - since that plays on words and applies directly in more ways than one! Which brings me to the verse Emily wanted us to look at for Wednesday in case anyone forgot:
Colossians 4:5- 6
"Make the most of every opportunity. Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out."
Feel free to post on here whenever somethings on your mind especially when it's not wednesday - I know we all keep journals and a lot of the stuff in there we want to keep private, between just ourselves and God - but if it's something your learning that you want to share or that you think will benefit everyone else to take a look at, go for it! So it's kinda like a mildy filtered journal if you will, and let's not forget an awesome tool to have for the summer too! (18 more days)...
